PSI: Private Sector Investment programme

The second PSI Regular and third PSI Plus tender is now open!
The deadline for submitting your project proposals is 23 August 2010, 15:00 hrs CET.

The Private Sector Investment programme (PSI) (divided in PSI Regular and PSI Plus) is a subsidy programme of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Development Cooperation that supports innovative investment projects in emerging markets.

To find out whether the country of your choice is open to PSI Regular or PSI Plus, please check the following regions: Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America. By entering the country of your choice, you will find more country specific information as well as a list of project examples of previous projects.

A PSI project is an investment project, implemented by a Dutch (or foreign) company together with a local company, in one of the eligible developing countries. If this investment meets the criteria, it can be eligible for a grant by PSI. This grant consists of a financial contribution to the costs of the investment.

So, do you have a tangible idea for starting an innovative business in a developing country? Then these steps will help you in applying for PSI Regular or PSI Plus.

Our project officers will be at your service to help you to apply for a PSI grant.
