A - G2G VIETNAM

Aim and content:

The G2G Vietnam programme aims at fostering bilateral relations and government-to-government co-operation in Vietnam.

The G2G Vietnam programme aims:

• to establish sustainable (working) relationships between governmental institutions in The Netherlands and in Vietnam;
• to support the strengthening of an enabling environment for entrepreneurship in Vietnam;
• to support 'good governance'.

The projects are funded by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Hanoi through ODA-funds. G2G Vietnam focuses on the sectors Agriculture, Water, Private Sector Development and Health Care.

The projects focus mainly on the transfer and exchange of knowledge and experience. Project execution is done by Netherlands public and/or private parties.

Core elements of this programme are mutual initiative and ownership, as wel as flexibility.

Project features:

• aimed at capacity building;
• maximum project budget: EUR 150,000;
• project duration between 1 week and 1 year.

Who can apply?

Projects can be submitted by central government organisations from Vietnam and by Dutch govenmental organisations.

B- WSSD VIETNAM

A budget has been earmarked for a limited number of 'government-to-government' projects in Vietnam in the field of agriculture, particularly in support of public-private partnerships in the sectors coffee, cocoa and fisheries. Projects are developed by IPS in co-operation with the Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Project execution is done by Netherlands public and/or private parties.
